Acne-prone skin requires daily cleansing that is both effective and gentle. Effaclar Foaming Purifying Gel is a soap-free cleanser that purifies the skin and promotes the elimination of excess sebum with a combination of Zinc and Glycacil.
When clean and free of impurities, the skin regains its physiological equilibrium. It is an ideal complement to dermatological treatments.

Wet the face with lukewarm water and apply a small amount of gel, massaging the skin gently to form a rich lather. Leave on for a few moments and rinse thoroughly with clear water. May be used both morning and evening.

Very gentle cleanser. I like this product and it does leave my face feeling clean and crisp. The only reason I rated it a 4-star is because I used Toleraine prior to this and I expected this product to foam more.
Pros: Gentle. Leaves face feeling clean.
Cons: Not sure I would purchase this product if I was looking for something to control acne. I can't tell a difference.

Im 15yrs old and ive been using this product for about 8 months. I had severe acne, my face was full of it. With the help of Dalacin pills, Differin cream and this amazing Effaclar product, my face regained the freshness it once had. Now I even stopped taking pills and Im cleaning my face every morning with Effaclar. It really worked. My skin is no longer too oily, nearly no zits and a very smooth face.

This product has worked wonders on my skin! I won a sample pack at a bridal shower and used it because I ran out of my normal face wash (Lancomb). My skin feels so smooth and soft! And it feels cleaner, too. Been using it about 1 1/2 years now, and I no longer get my monthly whopper zits, not to mention no more teeny little whiteheads. I feel fresher, cleaner, and even at age 39 my wrinkles have been reduced. This product is not for wrinkles, but because my skin is healthier it looks better.
